Benyamin Yacob is an Indonesian designer who is genuinely invested in the Arts and Fashion industry. Grew older in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia within Javanese homestead, alongside various cultures, customs and traditions, where curiosity-driven pursuit sparked into broad intercultural discourse, references and ideas.

Recently focused on the brand introduction and its approaches to product-development. Preserving Traditional-artistry on garment making in the contemporary presence with vision anchored in: Artistic Exploration, Expression, and Cultural Diverse.

Benyamin Yacob primarily focuses on womenswear garments and accessories, unveils biannual collections aligned with local climate and relevance.

Drawn from Printemps-été, a highlight collection of intricate workpieces in homage to traditional-artistry, intended for performing arts, press, media and premieres – any prestige events. And the Resort collection – a refined minimalist and functionality appeals for casualwear.

In early years, the brand focused heavily on its digital presence, encapsulating archetypes on both persona and product presentation – through website, Instagram, and X as the engagement tools, online catalogues and Tokopedia storefronts.

Crafts an elevated brand encounter in tactile printed matter and visual intimacy – which rippled throughout visual campaigns, zines, lookbooks, publications features, and more.

We remain open to future artistic collaborations – particularly strategic industry seedings toward stylists, editors, curators, and its aligned associations as preliminary gestures of the brand introduction in building long-term industry relationships.

Presentation

Our garments are produced by a lean multidisciplinary studio, with selective outsourcing to local artisans and resources based in East Java, Indonesia, with roots nationwide.

Most stages of production remain under our direct supervision, enabling us to oversee and optimize production efficiency, with an ecosystem where labor, welfare, and fair practices are prioritized.

This Includes seamstresses, needleworkers, paruriers, pleaters, textile weavers, and more. Most of our garments are responsibly-sourced to reduce ecological impact, traceable, and meant to last as we remain continuously improving.
